It’s not a secret that computers and technology have become the inseparable part of our everyday life. Today it is even hard to imagine our lives before computers. Phones and computers step in our lives also with new designs of home furniture concepts and hi-tech workstations. There are more and more innovation that help to make computers a part of how we relax. Here you can see some images of the above mentioned home furniture.
Green Shower Concept
It’s not called “Green” for the amount of green it gets rid of in your shower, but for the niceness it inflicts upon the environment. This “Green Shower” by Rami Tareef takes into account the amount the potential liters and liters of water wasted by showers and fixes it with this design using three very simple modifications.
A flexible LCD screen that notifies the user as to the temperature of the water. Silly? Nay! Lots and LOTS of people turn the shower on and wait for it to reach optimum heat. In this process is the liter waster. Be more precise with this right here.
A 24V DC generator to make use of the water as it flows from your water supply. Might as well do double good with that water as long as it’s flowing on your dime, right?
The third thing is that it looks amazing. Generally “non-traditional” shower fixtures look rather gaudy, if I do say so myself. This is nice. Look at that bathwater waterfall at the bottom! So pretty.
Fevzi karaman modular kitchen Concept
When you’ve got a tiny kitchen, having a work center that does double duty can make the space seem larger while keeping all of the functionality of a full-size kitchen. The modular kitchen by Fevzi Karaman is a clever design that houses everything you need in a compact space. A sink, recycling bin, cooking surface, stove, storage and more all fit under the moving tabletop. When closed, you have a nice breakfast bar island. When open, you’ve got a cozy table for two.
Alight kitchen Concept
The ALight Kitchen was designed with the intention of making the kitchen a more sustainable place. The unit houses a smart oven which reads the barcodes from pre-packaged foods (packed only in sheet metal, of course) to cook the food efficiently. The integrated dining table features hollow reversible plates and a flatware holder. And best of all, the built-in dishwasher recycles wash water to cut down on water consumption.
Scott Rocking chair
These two pieces, the rocking chair, and the love seat are designed by Scott Wilson and they are from its new line of sofas and chairs called Purity. The designs are characterized by highly pronounced curves. Their structure is made of steel so that adds strength and durability and are also covered with a mesh of polyurethane. Finally these pieces look very modern, to bad they are just concepts for now …and one thing that I could add is that the rocking chair would definitely need arm rests, rockers really need arm rests.
Volant Sofa
Volant Sofa is designed by Patricia Urquiola, and the Volant range includes the sofa, armchair, chair, and a stool, if you want the whole collection. The structure is basic and self-sufficient. The frame of the base appears orthogonal but in actual fact is a trapezium for adapting to the line of the back and seat. This leads to a shape dichotomy between regularity and irregularity, also in the perception of the seat elements which, despite the fact they seem flat, have curved sections to provide extreme comfort.
